Select Air Heating & Cooling provides residential and commercial HVAC services throughout Melbourne, including:

    • Preventative maintenance
    • System servicing
    • HVAC inspections
    • Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) rebate assistance
    • Emergency HVAC services

3. Quotes & Pricing

All quotes are provided based on the information available at the time of inspection or enquiry.

Prices may change if:

    • Additional work is required
    • Existing system conditions differ from initial information
    • Customer requests changes to the agreed scope of work
    • Unforeseen circumstances arise during installation or repair

Any additional costs will be discussed with the customer before work continues.

4. Bookings & Appointments

Appointments are subject to availability.

Customers are responsible for ensuring safe and reasonable access to the property at the scheduled appointment time.

If access cannot be provided, additional call-out fees may apply.

5. Cancellations

If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please notify us as early as possible.

Late cancellations or missed appointments may incur a cancellation or call-out fee where applicable.

6. Payments

Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing.

We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue accounts where permitted by law.

Ownership of supplied equipment remains with Select Air Heating & Cooling until payment has been received in full.

7. Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU)

Eligibility for Victorian Energy Upgrades rebates is determined by the relevant government program and applicable regulations.

While we assist customers with rebate applications, approval is not guaranteed and remains subject to the official program requirements.

8. Warranties

Manufacturer warranties apply to equipment supplied by the manufacturer.

Our workmanship is covered by any warranty provided at the time of installation or repair.

Warranty claims may become void if:

    • Equipment has been altered by unauthorised persons
    • Recommended maintenance has not been performed
    • Damage results from misuse, accidents, natural disasters, or improper operation

9. Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to:

    • Provide accurate information regarding their HVAC system.
    • Ensure safe access to the property.
    • Maintain installed equipment according to manufacturer recommendations.
    • Follow all operating instructions provided after installation.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Select Air Heating & Cooling shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or services.

Our liability is limited to the extent required under applicable consumer protection laws.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any rights that cannot legally be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
